Porsche Cayenne Review - Why This Is A Hot Seller For Porsche

Porsche caught the attention of the world when its Cayenne SUV was released in 2003. No one was ready for the production of a SUV that handled as well as a sports car. Unlike many other luxury SUV products, the Cayenne provided users with perfect precision and a lot of fun while driving.

Despite the high level of performance, many SUV enthusiasts were not happy about the aesthetic appearance of this vehicle, especially the "belly" body style. However, the appealing aspects were a lot more important, such as the all-wheel drive system, quick brakes, precise steering, and a five seat cabin.

The latest 2011 Cayenne is a much improved version of the original SUV. This vehicle is almost 400 pound lighter and has a much better fuel efficiency. There is an eight speed automatic transmission to make driving easier during city conditions. There are four different models available: Cayenne S Hybrid, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, and the standard Cayenne. The Turbo S and GTS model have been abandoned by Porsche.

Hybrid SUVs have been around for a while, but it is a fairly new concept for Porsche. The new auto-stop release is especially significant. This function will stop the car if it waits too long in traffic, helping to reserve energy. Once the brake has been released, the vehicle will start up again. In the United States, this function must be activated by the driver. In Europe, this mode is already activated, but it can also be disable. This feature is an appealing selling point with the declining economic conditions.

The price tag is the main drawback of the Cayenne. The standard model costs 46,000 dollars, while additional components can raise the price all the way up to 100,000 dollars. However, if you have the money to afford this car, it is certainly an enjoyable and luxurious ride.

Don L. "Big Daddy" Roberts is a Porsche lover. But he also loves his SUV's. That's why he was so excited to do this Porsche Cayenne Review. His other love is sports sedans, so it only made sense that he went out and did a Porsche Panamera Review as well. Hey, he's guy. He loves Porsche Reviews!
